-Despite the pressure coming from the hall, the oppressive weight that the mass of ghouls created, the dead girl moved toward the doors smoothly, untroubled. She had no regard for Abe’s monster, also lurking out there somewhere. The doctor wondered, as Rose sauntered toward the door, if the girl was even half as confident as she managed to act. In her place, Quill knew she wouldn’t have been, and when the specter made it to the door she stood up automatically, reaching out and starting to call her back. What stopped her was the way Rose only half turned, flickering to the dead, rotten corpse, staring her down before changing into her cheery child form and playfully covering her eyes. She would be alright, was the message, and even if she wouldn’t, she was going.-
This is Rose, a character from a role-play Plastic and I are doing. She has the ability to frighten other, more violent ghosts away, which is exactly what she is doing in this scene- despite the fact that the monster mentioned eats dead people. She does this because the two living people would otherwise be hurt by the ghouls in the hall and she would rather risk her unlife than see them get hurt.
